A vibrant crowd of more than 700 guests gathered at the Hilton Americas for the Board of Latin Women’s Initiative’s 16th annual fashion show, luncheon, and marketplace. Designs from Cooperative Shop and special guest designer Andres Otalora were showcased and Jacob Rascon from KPRC Channel 2 was the night’s emcee. The Latin Women’s Initiative has provided over $3 million in financial support to women and children across Houston and this event led them towards their goals, raising over $300,000 to support organizations like Small Steps Nurturing Center, Memorial Assistance Ministries and the University of Houston Center for Mexican American studies.
